In God's grace, opening our doors and reaching out to bring
God's love, peace and joy to all.

We warmly welcome you to Drumoak-Durris Church and invite you to explore further our website. As a Church we believe it's people who matter, how we relate to God and how we relate to one another, and so our hope and our prayer is that beyond looking at our website, you will be encouraged to come along and visit us.

Drumoak-Durris Parish lies in Royal Deeside between Aberdeen and Banchory and is centred around the two villages of Drumoak and Durris located either side of the River Dee.

At its meeting on Thursday, 18th June 2020, Drumoak-Durris Kirk Session considered the First Minister’s announcement that, from Monday 22nd June 2020, ‘places of worship can reopen for individual prayer or contemplation’.

After discussion and having given the matter its full consideration, and with reference to the Church of Scotland’s COVID-19 Guidance to Reopening Church Buildings, Drumoak-Durris Kirk Session agreed that, in order to ensure the safety of all its congregation, Drumoak-Durris Church buildings would remain closed until Phase 4 is reached.

Reflections At The Quay - Petition

BBC Scotland has announced that they will stop broadcasting the Sunday Morning ‘Refections at The Quay’ which features religious reflections from Scotland. A petition has been setup for the BBC to reconsider this decision.

The petition, setup by Laura Fleming states that: "This programme is vital to those in our communities who are seeking spiritual comfort and has been enjoyed by many throughout Lockdown.  In these times of isolation not everyone has access to online services or social media and many elderly and vulnerable people rely on their television to access worship each Sunday."
