Drumoak Church Refurbishment Update
At last I do have some news to share with you and it's good news!
The Kirk Session met with members of the Property & Finance Group on Thursday, 15th August 2019, and discussed the way forward with the refurbishment programme for the church building. It remains the intention of both the Kirk Session and the Property & Finance Group to complete the entire project for the redevelopment of the church building. Initially the work will commence as a staged programme, whilst consideration and research is carried out for the planned extensions to both the front (south) and rear (north) of the church building.

Drumoak-Durris Church Service Update
On the 7th August 2017, work commenced regarding the refurbishment of Drumoak Church. Although it is very much a 'building site' - and as such has restricted access - the churchyard will still be open for those who wish to visit.
The Drumoak-Durris Kirk Session agreed that services on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month will take place in Drumoak Church Hall whilst services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month will continue to be held in Durris Church - this will be the format that will continue for the foreseeable once the coronavirus epidemic has passed.
We thank you for your understanding and patience during this new period and we very much look forward to introuducing you to the new refurbished church when it is complete.
Donations are being collected for Community Food Initiatives North East (CFINE). The food bank box is situated in Durris Church. Household items such as toilet paper and soap are now also being accepted. Thank you for your support.
