Loch Lee

PLEASE NOTE: Following the coronavirus outbreak in the UK, gatherings for this group have been suspended for the foreseeable future.

Do you enjoy keeping fit by walking and visiting the hills, glens and lochs of NE Scotland? If so, we are an independent group that would love for you to join us for our walks. From spring until the end of autumn, we meet fortnightly on an allocated day and spend a good part of the day exploring the wonderful scenery which surrounds us in this part of the world. From light forest trails in Royal Deeside and coastal walks to some more challenging Munros of the Cairngorms, we explore different areas each time.

Everyone who is of suitable fitness is welcome to join us for any of our walks. The group normally meets early in the morning at a designated location in Banchory or in Drumoak where we confirm the route and offer a car-share to the trail destination. We recommend bringing with you a waterproof jacket, backpack, good walking shoes/boots, lunch, water and possibly a walking pole for some of the mountainous trails. Please note that everyone is responsible for their own fitness, safety, abilities and equipment.

If you are interested, please contact Ronnie Mitchell on 01330 811900.
